: TWHL Playoff Bash in the Great White North!

July 27, 2007 - It's East versus West as Canada is split in when the Toronto Blue Hens and the Vancouver Vampires square off in the opening round of the TWHL playoffs.  The #2 seeded Vampires are lead by forwards Scott Gomez and Tyler Arnason, and are protected in net by veteran Patrick Lalime1.  The high powered offense of the third seeded Blue Hens are lead by 100 points scorers Mark Smith and Dany Heatley.  The Hens are also aided by Eric Lindros who just missed the 50 goal mark this year due to ...um... injury.

'I missed my Mommy and I had to take some time off to see her.  You understand, don't you?'

The Blue Hens still have not decided on which goaltender to start, as there are three potential choices.  Veterans Keri Lehtonen and Jamie Storr have been solid when starting.  Rookie netminder Rob Zepp has shown signs of brillance with the chances he has been given (
6-1-1 in eight starts for the Hens).  Coach, Nick Lennon, takes it all in stride:

'Although I would be happy with starting Keri, Jamie, or even Robby, I will make a decision before Game One.  Whoever I go with will the guy I stick with.'
