"The Singapore Ronins are proud and ecstatic to announce that Paul Coffey has joined the team.   He is a much needed boost to a defence that was in disarray all of last season. Paul will now be moved to Team Captain and will be joined by Jarome Iginla and Darryl Sydor (Alternate Captains).  This move will provide leadership and experience to the blue line and help team morale.  In addition, the Singapore Ronins are sad to say that Freddie Shero has stepped down from his position and is no longer part of the Ronin Organization.  His position as Singapore Assistant Director of Player Personnel has now been filled by Pierre Mondou."

The Singapore Ronins Also will be wearing their Third Jersey for the season Opener (seen below).
